We are Diffucap-Chemobras Química Farmacêutica Ltda., a company with nearly 50 years of tradition in the pharmaceutical market. Located in Rio de Janeiro, we are certified by ANVISA with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), which allows us to produce solid oral medications, including those subject to special control under Ordinance 344/98, across various therapeutic classes.
We stand out not only for outsourcing pharmaceutical production for global companies but also for the development and manufacturing of our own medications aimed at the medical community. Our sales team operates throughout Brazil, carrying out medical and dental visits.
One of our main differentiators is the Extended Release System (ERS), which enables the creation of long-acting and highly effective medications. This innovative technology allows precise adjustment of dosage and desired concentrations, ensuring greater treatment adherence and minimizing side effects.
Our History
Since 1975, Diffucap has followed an inspiring journey, beginning in a family home that was transformed into a laboratory and research center. Our visionary team planted the seeds of an enterprise that would become a benchmark in the development and manufacturing of pharmaceutical products in Brazil and abroad.
Through dedication and continuous growth, we soon realized that the space we occupied could no longer contain our potential. In 1981, we took a major step forward by establishing our own headquarters — a milestone that reflected our unwavering commitment to excellence.
Welcome to our factory in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro. With 48 years of experience in the healthcare field, Diffucap is a pharmaceutical company specialized in the production of high-technology medications, recognized for their safety and efficacy.
Committed to the environment and employee safety, we hold Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) certification, allowing the production of solid oral medications, including immediate-release, delayed-release, and extensed-release capsules, with powders or spherical microgranules.
Our facilities cover approximately 5,000 square meters and feature modern equipment such as mixers, mills, granulators, extruders, and spheronizers, enabling the manufacture of active microgranules for our capsules.
In addition, we master ERS (Extended Release System) technology to control the drug-release rate, ensuring product quality and safety. Formulations using ERS technology are registered with ANVISA for commercialization in Brazil.
We also seek partnerships with other companies to expand our portfolio — whether through independent or joint developments, outsourcing of manufacturing stages, or commercial collaborations.
